HO72 question - brakes

Ok so I can't quite find my answer, so I'm hoping the experts can help me. I am looking to buy brake parts for my 157" wb 1970 c30 to get it road worthy. Rockauto has "except 11,000-lb" listed on most of the rear end brake parts. I know there is an 11,000-lb gvwr axle that is 10-lug. Mine is an 11,000-lb axle (listed on the door jamb), but it's 8-lug. So I believe it's a standard HO72 rear end but rated at 11,000-lb because the HD springs (G50). So my question is am I correct in assuming the 11,000-lb exception does not apply to my truck?
