Radiator caps
I’m installing recovery tanks in a 69 & two 72 trucks . I was told that as long as I had one with a gasket at top of cap I was good. Not the case was told any part store had them again not true. The pollpet at bottom of cap aka round stainless must not be spring loaded. It must hang down. Upon warm up pollpet is pushed up on cool down it lowers allowing coolent to be drawn in to radiator.cap must be vented! Have part # if anyone needs
