Re: 67-72 Bench seat lowering brackets ??
I just installed mine this past weekend. Wish I had done it months ago when I first bought them. After I redid my bench seat I was looking through the top of the windshield. I now have over FOUR inches of headroom (5'8").
As always, I still wish I could have 1 more inch of leg room, but without a thinner seat that's not possible. I have a cool set of box speakers I can't find anymore (look like these) behind the seat. They were so old the speakers blew, so I took them apart and swapped speakers out. My tank has long been out of the cab. The under seat space thing does suck a bit. All I could get under there was my jumper cable bag. I didn't realize at first you lost a couple mounting bolts as well, but once installed it feels solid and doesn't move. If you really wanted to, I guess you could order a 2nd set. And you can't see the logo when installed.
