oxygen sensors / other connectors question

I'm in the middle of rewiring my pcm for my ls swap. I've removed my ac stuff because im not running an ac circuit in my vehicle. But now I've stopped to lean on folks who've performed this task and such.

When talking about emissions, do we need the o2 sensors for registration later on down the road? or does it still fall under an antique vehicle and its omitted despite having a new time motor in it?

Thank you,

double
