Finally gonna do the swap.

Putting in a 5.3 and 4l60e in my 1971 Chevy pickup within the next month or so.

I do have a question about AC.

It's not an AC cab, it has an aftermarket under dash now. I don't know if it works since it leaked out the refrigerant.

Should I try to get the compressor from the donor to work by having it controlled by the pcm or just go with a new aftermarket under dash that controls a second fan when it's on?

I don't want to cut the frame to do the conversion if I don't have to.

Donor is a 2004 Chevy suburban.
