she's on the road

well guys finally got some time to work on my 65 c-10 lwb fleet this last couple of weeks between the rain & flooding around chicago/milwaukee area. she's up & running, got the three on the treeto the floor, got brakes, headlights (halogen hi only- probably dimmer switch), tail & stop (led) lights, but not turn signals yet- after market clamp on column switch isn't co-operating yet. the radio even works. driving it to currency exchange on way to work this morning. just got a free 86 donor for spindle to spindle swap for front disc. get them on in a couple of weeks when i get time again. feels good to have it on the road. hard to call her my black betty yet while she's still tan tho. looks like patch & paint time coming- black of coarse. pics coming this week. she may be for sale soon i have found a prostreet project in someones got all apart -given up on in a barn tho. jw
