Combining rear flip with lift shackles

I'm trying to lower the rear of 1987 R10 but not sure how low i want to go. I found a flip kit that also includes a "lift" shackle for 1 or 2 inches. This would allow for an adjustable rear drop of 3", 4" , or 5". Any problems with combining a flip kit with a lif shackle?
