Nine Shows this year - maybe one more
I finished up the Blazer in April and since then I have taken it to 9 shows. I have been amazed at the interest in it and how well it has been recognized. It received awards at every show and a few "Best of Shows" overall. I haven't hung them on my wall yet so I took a few photos of them in the back of the Blazer. I am deeply appreciative of them all, but one, the Best of show at the "Man Up" show run by Mike Redenbach for childhood cancer, in memory of his beautiful daughter Meghan, is the most memorable trophy I have ever received. It is hand made from a camshaft, lifters, push rods, and timing gears. It is both the neatest trophy I have ever received and carries with it the most meaning. Next year, the Blazer will be on all the Man Up plaques - a real honor.
