Tube Control arms on 86 C20 - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

My son scored a set of lifted tubular control arms. However, they are for a c10.

We would like to convert them over to use the brakes and keep 8 lug, but:

Lower ball joints wont work. Do they make another ball joint that fits in the c10 hole of the arm that bolts to the c20 spindle? Other option is uni ball.
Upper shaft wont work. Do they make a upper shaft that uses bushings instead of the screw on caps so it will fit the arm and the bolts in the frame?

Anyone have any experience with this?
