tbi friendly build ideas?
so since my new to me 91 suburban's motor has probably 250k(that's what the OD reads, no idea on the service history on this tank), and the fact that it is consuming oil, i'm planning on building a motor for this thing once i get my 1970 toronado gt on the road.
so far the plan for the build is to use a 96+ vortec 350 since the heads are the best that you can get from the mothership, the block is already a roller cam setup, and i can get them relatively cheap since i now work at a major salvage yard. the only thing that i can't really decide on is what cam to use. i am putting quite a bit of consideration into using the stock lt1 cam. the main goal of this build will be to build a better, more efficient motor that i can also use as a daily so getting 12-15mpg would be where i would wanna sit without needing to throw a custom burned eprom at the ecu
