4L80 V3500 crossmember question?
I've got a 1991 V3500 DRW with the 454/4L80. My truck is almost completely stock except for the true duel exhaust, which is legal here. The pipe on the passenger side hangs down below the factory cross member and looks terrible. Almost like I ran something over and it's stuck under my truck. The cross member only has the one hump, left, and there isn't enough room on the other side, right, to safely tuck the pipe up out of sight.
My question is, Will any of the aftermarket, two hump, cross members work in a V3500 and 205/4L80 transmission? I see C10's listed and I know the frame is the same width, but nothing for a K10 or even anything about a 4x4 or even a 205/4L80. Sure I could get around to making my own. But for the sake of time and other projects, I just rather spend $150ish and be done with this detail. I was hoping someone has done a 4L80 swap and knows what will work for this issue. Thanks
