I used hog rings on the back cover just like the original cover I removed. The original cover had a single piece of wire inside the top horizontal edge only, and this wire had a wavy pattern bent into it. The new cover came with a fibrous plasticky rigid cord inserted in this spot, so I used that instead of the original wire. The side and bottom edges have no wire or cord (same as original). I wrapped the material back underneath the hog ring bars in the seat frame so the hog rings would go through two layers of material.

I bought the 67-68 clips for the bottom cushion from classicparts.com. The part number is 28-900, but I can't find them on their website anymore for some reason.
