Got my truck back today. Short story: Carburetor is untunable and is a turd
The shop owner is good friends with another local shop owner that is a Chevy Racer/Quadrajet lover. After I get my "old" Carburetor back on, he wants me to bring this one to him on Monday. He wants to do a deep dive with the other shop owner. He wants to understand how can a supposedly rebuilt carburetor can be so horrible. Also, zero charge - basically he feels really bad for me.
