I took a look at your thread last night. I remember coming across your pics while doing a Google search.
I think I will try reversing the big block stands first as I've already got a fortune in stands and mounts. I had originally planned on going 383 so I bought the 383 stands and mounts. So I have those brand new in box along with these BB stands and mounts. So I have almost $400 just in those 2 sets. I guess if I go with small block stands, I can always just use the CPP and use them in the rear holes. I like the BB stands/mounts since the motor sits a little higher. That should put it right in the notch on the firewall. Fingers crossed.
