Install of 292 Inline 6, How to Deal With Engine Mounts

I'm about to install a "refreshed" 292 into my 63 C10. I am looking for advice on how to deal with the engine mounts and perches. If I bolt the engine mount (with rubber) to the block and the perches to the frame, it looks like an almost impossible task to get the single bolt in that connects the two together as the engine is lowered. (That bolt is inserted from the bottom and you won't be able to see the alignment from the top.)

Do people bolt the mounts and perches together onto the engine before installation, then drop the engine in? At least then, you can see the holes in the frame to align the perches as the engine drops in. You could leave the bolts a little loose to allow some fudging room.

Looking for someone who has BTDT.

Thanks, Cris
