A/T pedal assembly differences from M/T.

So my truck was once a column shifter but the previous owner (my uncle) changed it to a
T-400 A/T. If I was to just remove the clutch pedal and whatever it moves upon, will the brake pedal be fine or does the brake pedal need the clutch attachment?? Hope that made sence?? Thanks
