New Progress Pics of 71
Well I finally figured out how to shrink the size of my digital photos small enough to post them. Not sure if any of you remember, but I bought a 71 Blazer (blue with black stripe down hood) off ebay back in april. It needed complete restoration. I had to remove the front clip, take the engine/tranny out (350/465), installed new wiring harness, rockers, intake, headers, alternator, seats, carpet, clutch, carburater, weatherstripping, etc...
I've taken pictures all along but realized a setting on the camera was set at the highest resolution, making them way too big to post. I've fixed that problem for new photos but have yet to figure out how to shrink the existing ones from the earlier work in order to post them. Anyway, attached are some pics of the primed floor before the carpet install. I had to fabricate a good chunk of the floor (where it meets the rockers). I'm not expert welder, but it came out alright. I'm using seats from a 90 K5 that I used to have that was totalled when I let someone else drive it (ex-girlfriend). I had to weld in some homemade brackets to allow the frames to bolt into the floor. I'll post more pictures as I go, lots more to do, but I am over the hump!
