Wiper washer motor or switch?

I replaced the factory washer motor with an electric one years ago and it always seemed to need to prime before it actually started working which was a bit annoying. The first motor went bad and I replaced it with the same one from Classic Parts. At first it worked the same as the prior one but now I can’t get it to work. When I push the wiper/washer switch to activate the washer I hear the motor start briefly then stop. Each time I repeat this it starts then stops but never runs long enough to prime or pump fluid. I checked the wiring and all looks good. Has anyone experienced this? I’m thinking I need a new wiper/washer switch but not sure.
