1970 C10 Power Steering Question

Hello lads,
I have installed a bolt-on IFS from Scott's Hotrods. It fits great, excited to get it fired up. The new rack and pinion sits just below the power steering pump from Tuff Stuff Performance, literally less than a foot.

The rack/pinion has 5/8"-18 o-ring and 9/16"-18 o-ring fittings, and the high pressure side of the pump is 5/8"-18 inverted flare. So what I'm curious about is what type of hose I should use.

I've also considered getting a short rubber hose with the crimped on -6AN fittings and buying -6AN to 9/16"-18 o-ring and -6AN 5/8"-18 inverted flare fitting. Or I have left over brake line that I could get the same fittings and flare the brake line.

What would be the best way for me to go about this, in yall's esteemed opinion? Thanks for the help.
