Drive Line Mounting Help

I have questions about the diffrent mounting locations for the carrier bearing on the drive shaft.
I have a 67 C10 LWB with the style of mount that mounts to the top of th X - member with one bolt in front of the other.
I upgraded to a 5 Lug 1972 rear end, and am running a 350 / TH350 setup.
The drive line I bought (to use on this project) has the carrier bearing mount style that mounts on the lower part of the crossmember, and has bolts on each side.

Can someone explain what drive lines (years / application C-10 C-20 etc) were used on what carrier mount location (see photo below) so I can get the correct setup?
I'm tempted to just have someone send me the lower mounting bracket style, and use the bigger dia shaft I just bought.

HELP !

Darren
