1972 Tilt column bearing race tilt shoe placement

Guys.... looking for some help here. I am rebuilding a 72 van tilt column for my 66 and I think I may have installed the tilt locking shoes backwards.....if sitting behind the wheel and looking at the column from the drivers position does the shoe with the three teeth go on the right and the four tooth shoe go on the left or is it opposite of that....sorry I can't find a clear answer anywhere. The picture shows how I have it now and is viewed from the back side (obviously)......thanks!
