Been too many years since I was much deeper into these trucks, so I claim confusion. In the mid 70's, I had a neighbor with a '66-'67 van, but I don't remember any real detail. May have been a '68 too...
I am not a red fan and like the gold bow tie better too. And looking at Anniversary trucks, the Gold would have been a better color on them anyway...
When I do find a nice used set for the missing emblems on mine, I will be very tempted to paint them Gold or even Blue to match the color.
