Adding a couple tie downs in the box, any ideas?

My pick up was a municipal pick up in Wyoming for most of it's life. Appears to have lead a comfy life. The previous owner replaced the oak bed with new oak, unfinished, which is exactly how I would have done it. The bed doesn't have a single hook, or tie down spot in it anywhere. In the two years I've owned it, I've only wished for tie down fixtures 5 or 6 times (I have other ways to move heavy stuff). Most of the time, I'm carrying bags of critter food, fertilzer and what not. Be nice to add a couple small cleats on each side. I'm just having real pause drilling the box (like it was going to make it bleed or something). So far, I think something like four of these. What have you done?

Here's my old girl hard at work LOL
