Re: vintage camper shells
I found a shell for my '66 last month after running a WTB ad on marketplace for a couple of months. No idea who made it, there are no markings on it anywhere. The previous owner had bought a '65 or '66 F100 and the people he bought it from said it had been on the F100 since new or nearly new.
Plans are to insulate it and finish the inside with period correct wood paneling. I've started building a half wall that I can sit in the tailgate opening when the tailgate is dropped that will mount a small window AC unit for camping in the summer.
