63 Fuel Tank

It has been sitting 32 years, I believe the gas cap might have been off some of those years. I think I remember a rag and a bag over it different times.
I put some fuel in it... It leaks at the seam.

I was planing on getting a different tank anyway, but was hoping it would not be so soon.
I saw new tanks for a Chevelle that are filled up behind the license plate.
Don't think that would be good for when I tow something and need to fill up.
Plus I may stick a spare under the back.

I ordered a side frame mounted tank.
Should be fun trying to make it fit. It was under $100

A sending until that I can run a return line. I've tried a bunch of things on my 56 to keep it from vapor locking (it also has a 350). 56 does better after adding an Electric pump, routed fuel line away from engine, wrapped headers with the fiberglass tape but its not perfect. Some really hot days it will acted up.
If adding a return line on the 63 works well, I will do something similar to the 56. More room behind the seat would be nice.
