My job today was to run the wires to the starter and the sensor located behind it. There is an open hole at the back of the block,probably for a locating pin. I ran the wires through that.

Had to take the plug off the sensor wires to fit through the hole so I had to make a tool to take the plug apart. I used some .035 welding wire flattened on the end for my tool.

The wires can never get too close to the exhaust this way.
