thinking about making my lower control arm pockets lower, is this a good idea?

I want to lower the front a bit more and was thinking about making the cup inside the lower control arm lower. Right now it is even with the buttom of it. Just wondering what is the most i should do? Or should i even do it at all, would it be safe having it lower then the bottom, or am i just asking for trouble? Anyone ever done this and had problems? I need all the input i can. Thanks.
