The next thing I would be checking is the fuel lines. You might havve a crack or hole in them letting the pump suck in air. From there I would check your selector valve. If the previous owner had a prob with it, there is a good chance you now have a prob with it. After that if you cannot find the problem, then you will most likely be looking at taking the tanks out and checking the pickup tubes.
