Texas, Oklahoma Meet

We are having a meet and greet family picnic for Texas, Oklahoma and the surrounding areas! There was a meet earlier this year in Oklahoma and due to the overwelming response, another has been planed for this August in Texas. The picnic will be at Lavon Lake in Wylie, Tx. Anyone and everyone is invited to come join this great event. Among those invited are the great people from this board, Chevytalk, Metroplex Muscle Car Club and North Texas Camaro Club. We encourage all those with new or old chevy's to come on out. It doesn't matter what year, model or condition. Just bring it and enjoy the day.

The meet is being put on by the "Southern Bowties" club. There are three main people responseable for this event and funding the space. they are the founding members of Southern Bowties - Brandon Hicks (aka 79Big10), Will Evans (aka Smokie55), And Ryan Chrisenberry (aka 67_SS396). The event is not really a car show. So no trophys or plaques.It is a place for local and national club members to get together and share their love for their rides. Have a little fun. And enjoy a hot summer day.

This event will be fun for the whole family. There will be Horse shoes and volleyball along with plenty of time in the lake if you like.

We hope to meet and see plenty of folks from DFW and the surrounding areas that can make it out.
