Gliche in the system? er what?

K, first off my truck was running when i parked it. Now she won't start. The radio works/horn so i know its not the battery, i had recently put in a new cap,plug wires, condensor, rotor, distributor,points, coil, and correctly gapped spark plugs. So she refuses to start now, why? The starter will crank but then nothing. I have came to a conclusion that the problem lies with my ignition system wires, maybe the regulator (little black box behind my radiator on the drivers side) if that is what its called. I believe that it is the origional, where do i start? All this is not good for my barely broken in carb holding gas. THanks for the help all.
