If you look under the engine next to the fuel pump, you'll see how the corner of the block is flat there. You may be able to put a screw/bottle jack head there to do the primary lifting if the crossmember clears the jack body. Then place blocks of wood between the crossmember and the motor mounts to protect you fingers, hands, etc. while you're working with the oilpan.
Make sure the jack is supported with something solid and much wider than the jack's base. No cinder blocks! Better idea. Oroville is full of folks who do their own auto maintenance. Don't be shy, ask around if anyone has garage or even driveway space to lend you. Rural folks have lots of room with no time limits necessary. Ask if people know someone. That way they won't feel pressured themselves. Maybe contact local car clubs or 4x4 clubs.
