bolt size for inspection cover??
well, after fixing my truck last night, i go to drive it today and it starts ticking VERY VERY loudly. i was like "OH SH!T". it didnt loose any power or anything like that and wasnt smoking and was still running good, so i took it back home and hopped in the other car i'm was driving and went to work.
came home and looked right at the inspection cover because i heard the sound coming from around that area. well, 3 of the 4 bolts that hold it on are missing. so, i need some new ones. anyone know what size i need to get?? and in cause you are dense, the ticking sound was the torque converter bolts hitting the inspection cover. |

I a little dense but Im think their sheetmetal screws not bolts.. the 4x4 trannys had actual bolts.. take the one thats left out, and take it with you to the hardware store. I could have already had it unbolted and been on my way to Ace before I finish typing this reply.
