Help-need Brake Booster Brackets-drilled Out

Please kind folks
does anyone have a old booster from a chevy-1/2 -1 ton lying around that they can sell me-and drill the bracketts off of it for me and send me just them--i will of coarce pay for the entire booster and something for your labor to drill out the 4 tough rivits.....they have to be in great shape--but most are untouched anyway--beacuse of how protected they sit.....but please if anyone can do this for me-or have them it would be great---just answear this or send me a pm---thanks ever so

also are there any good brake guys out there to tell me if this new set up i am building will work fine----a few shops tell me it will but i belive folks here more then from shops....

i need for several reason of room to remove the 12'' booster that came on my 86 burb and run a double 8'' booster--with a extra vacum cam for storage----it's a 86 burb and i have allready change over to 4 1969--cadilac elderado disc brakes---so i am running 4 disc brakes----will this work anyone got a feel or talent for this and can give me a clue....if my pedal will have the right pressure and the 8'' booster will stop the truck---as good as a stock set up---some say better--but i am leary of this---going from a 12'' booster to a 8'' double has me a little worried--should i be.....help

also if you do want to go over to disc brakes this is a very cheap and good way to go----get the disc brakes off a old caddy at the junk yard and clean then up and bolt them on----all four of my disc brakes cost me less then 200 bucks---just in case anyone needs this info----axle companies that sell disc brakes in there pakages with axles do this all the time and get huge money for it--like 1200 bucks for all 4 wheels----anyway hope this helps someone wanting or needing disc brakes.....and they work great with your stock booster and mc....

thanks for any help

THANKS C-1072

The brakes i run on all 4's of my suburban tires--86 silverado---i took off a 69 caddillac eldarodo- they actually bolted rite up to the front and i got the stock disc bracketts for the back and they also went rite on.....it was a breeze and i save about a grand or more...

thanks for geting back with me on the boster braket but someone sent me to e-bay and i bought a booster for 20 bucks with new bracket that fits excattly for a 86 burb---and did a buy it now and he's sending them out tomorrow after he drills out the brackets......too sweet.....but thanks your a prince

AND THANKS ALL-----MERRY CHRISTMASS

yep for sure--sorry there-- come to think of it we had to go with something else on front -been a while-we bolted on vette disc's on the front...and the stock hookups were from dynatrac as they still use caddy disc's- even today---off a caddy elderado;;;;; 1969 elderados were heavy cars.

i am once again changing over my brakes however to a set of biggy's from ccp---so in a few months if anyone wants a complete disc brake set up, for all 4's--i'll give you mine with rotors and all for dirt cheap along with a chrome 12'' booster and mc----and all the misc--if you intrested drop me a pm around first of feb.....as we should have ours in by then. sorry we won't break up the set....selling all for much less then cost...

MERRY CHRISTMASS TO ALL
GOD BLESS

aab
