Thanks Rich...and I completely understand the sickness thing! I have six young kids and we have all been exchanging a bug for about 2 weeks now.
I look forward to seeing pictures.
Also, I need to know how soon you hope/expect to move the thing?
How is it set up? Lift? Other features? Is the engine already out?

Plan on pulling motor this weekend if all goes well. Other truck is ready for motor to go in. Other features tilt wheel, decent interior has carpet but rough on driver side, sliding rear window, new rear springs, newer dual exhaust, all tires are newer with under a 1000 mi on them, new master cylinder rear brakes, rear springs, new rear driveshaft lockout hubs, nad everything works on the truck. I've had this truck since '88 and it has NEVER EVER EVER failed me, left me stranded or failed to start. She has been the most reliable vehicle i've ever had.

Rich,
What kind of rear end is under it? I don't think you ever said. I think you said something about have it rebuilt. What is it? Gear ratio? Posi?

Also, you wouldn't happen to need firewood?

So far it seems that nothing has worked out...If you have or know of someone with a set of axels that will work in my 83 4x4, with 3.42 or lower gears with a posi rear I would really appreciate your help getting them. They can be out of a 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton. I am not interested in an Open rear diff. only in Posi or locker (not a lincoln locker though).
