71 Jimmy Ready for paint...
Just dusted myself off and walked in, My 71 GMC Jimmy is ready for paint took her all the way down to 400 grit. I'm going to paint it metallic dark purple and the strip along the bottom (OE style strip) is going to be metallic silver with a purple pearl in it so it will sparkle when the sun hits it. The very very top on the hardtop will also be silver with the pearl. it will be the same paint scheme as my red one I use for my Avatar just different colors... I can't wait, I wanna see this purple beast....
Why purple? I dunno I guess I see too many red ones lol will post picture of it when its done... |

Hey Gyva, you got two Jimmys, or are you painting the one in your avatar? Did those blinker housings make it to ya yet? Can't wait to see the pics after you get it painted!
