EGR help

OK im a little confused on this EGR valve thing. Did all 73-87 350 engines have a EGR valve? And one more silly question, how and what do they look like? I would like to get a polished intake for my 350 but not sure what to look for.

Thanks
Jason

if emissions are required in your state you will need one, but no not all 73-87s had them. probably not until the late 70s... as far as what it looks like, its on the passenger side rear of your intake and looks like a UFO, part of it will be slightly over your valve cover.

Here's a pic of what it looks like. Like Prerunner said it looks like a UFO.
