highest rear gears for 12 bolt?

Im really REALLY tired of my automatic tranny. God I hate these things. I only got one because it was the cheapest way of getting a reliable overdrive, but I can't take it anymore. I want about 2500rpm@ 80mph, so I need a 2.6x gear with a 1:1 tranny ratio [will problably put in a muncie M20 4sp] Did chevy make anything close to that for a 12bolt axle?

On another note: anyone got a muncie M20 and want to trade for a stage 2 built 2004R?

They did have a 2:73 ratio from the factory for a 12 bolt. That's what my neighbor's 81 K10 with a 4 spd came factory with...

Car 12 bolt and truck 12 bolt are totally different. We went through that when my neighbor swapped gears...

I can ask my neighbor if he wants to part the 2:73's we removed from his truck. I'll check with him tomorrow and let you know back...
