Swap?

Getting ready to swap 3/4 Dana rear and 44 front into my 72 Blazer....have any of you done this and what problems should I expect to run into? I realize that I have to change the spring perches(the Dana 60 came out of a longhorn) and also the conversion U joints......anything else? Thanks

I think it is suppose to be a straight forward swap. Are the brake lines the same? What about e-brake cables?

I think IGOR has made the switch, but I haven't seen him on the boards in a long time. He is (was) in the central Oregon area. There are a lot of guys on CK5.com that have made the switch too. If you don't mind dealing being called names, you could check on Pirate4x4.com, too.

Document the swap with photos and let us know how it goes.

I will

I have a good digital, and I'll try and take as many shots of it as I can....it should be straight forward......The new spring perches should be a snap.....more to follow
