My guess is the whole arm will need to be removed. I haven't changed bushings because my new arms had good ones in them. But when i did me arms is was a very tight space. I made my life easy by removing the bed had plenty of room then. Plus with the rear and the springs I don't know if they will move much. Try it out on one arm. Worst scenario is you have to take the arm of, which is one 1 bolt for the spring and then the U-bolt.
Heres a pic of how tight things were for me. This is after everything is back together. Good luck with whatever happens. Mike
