Not again.
So, I'm out on the town and get a call on my phone saying somebody hit the 62 parked in front of the house.
So by the time I get home, there are cop cars and neighboors out looking at the damage. rear corner bed hit the cab here si some pics of the trailings arms and axle. http://pic7.picturetrail.com/VOL190/...8/89519771.jpg here are some pics I took this morning before work, http://pic7.picturetrail.com/VOL190/...8/89519776.jpg http://pic7.picturetrail.com/VOL190/...8/89519781.jpg http://pic7.picturetrail.com/VOL190/...8/89519788.jpg here is what hit me http://pic7.picturetrail.com/VOL190/...8/89519876.jpg http://pic7.picturetrail.com/VOL190/...8/89519880.jpg http://pic7.picturetrail.com/VOL190/...8/89519889.jpg yup, so... kinda sucks, Ive only had this one a little over a month of so, after my accident in my 61. Appently dood tried to take off after he hit because my mom came out yelling. He had to have been going fast, pushed the truck(in gear) a good 1.5 car legnths, but some neighboors brought him back. Missed the neighboor girls car by not a whole lot and their escalade by a couple of feet. As you can see, I need to start finding parts. Will have to go visit my 61 at pick n pull on sunday. find my new, or old, or my old axle. Anybody got anything they think I might need, lemme know. xextr3m3@pirate4x4.com Justin

Wow, that sucks. I know that fleetside sides are hard to come by in repro. Looks like your trailing arm is gone -- not a big deal. Can you see any frame damage?
And to the car that hit you got Brian |

The car that hit me got owned. All the way to windshield is gone.
It was a Nissan, Altima, i think. Didn't see any frame damage, dont think he hit the frame. I already drug my trailing arms out of the back yard.

Gotta love them old trucks..especially when the dispose-a-cars meet up with them. I hope no one was hurt. Good excuse for a frame up resto now?

thanks for the offer, but I think ive got everything, had to go buy my old rear axle, and tailgate. drug some trailing arms out of the back yard and just bought a new bed yesterday.
that truck wouldn't happen to have aluminum headlight bezels, or at least a drivers side one
