Indian Blanket seat cover
I saw a flat black truck in Classic trucks a while ago with the rainbow striped indian blanket seat cover. Looked cool!
Anyone know if they are available or only custom???? |

Do a web search under "Native American Blanket".

That must have been a popular style of seat cover about 20 or 25 years ago because I see a lot of those on old beater trucks.

Its a hot rod thing. But I dont know where people get them. Or if they just make them like the others say.

I found them. E-Bay, where else! Search Mexican Blankets. I got one like the one in the lowrider flat black big wheels truck for 25.00. Buy it NOW deal. You could probably bid on one ( starting at 19.95) I got the 80 by 60 inch one

I got mine at a convenience store off I-40 near Jackson, TN a few years ago on a road trip. We bought about thrree of them. They sell them here in Pigeon Forge at some of the gift shops. What color do you want? I might look for one for you.
I just attached it with those small bungee cords with the small brass hooks. No one can see the cords or hooks. Low tech but hey, it works. It's easy to take off and wash. Lemme know if I can be any more help.

The cool thing about them is they don't even have to match! We just threw it on there to hide the ugly spots not because it's part of the rat rod theme.... it just kinda worked out that way!

Check farm supply stores. The ones here usually have several different colors of them.
