Which frames will fit a 67-69?
I'm having trouble finding a 67 chevy 4x4 short box, so I'm wondering what years of frames could be used to convert a 2 wheel drive truck into a 4x4. I'm also planning on putting a big block with a 4 speed and 3/4 or 1 ton running gear.
Thanks |

As far as I know, 67-72 is all that will work.

Thats about it like pjmoreland said...you could attempt to convert a leaf sprung rear swb into 4x4 if you can grab crossmembers, spring hangers..etc from a 4x4...some 67-72 4x4 frames get parted out that are lwb around this board...you ask around here..you'll get what you need eventually.

Mudder's frame is from a later model (like 80's I believe).

Yep...if your into frame mods you could use a newer GM frame. There longer to start with.
