This one has been bugging me.Is there a junkyard fix for the old vacumm wipers?Something that can be made to work without too much difficulty?

Newport engineering, Chevy Duty - most vendors - sell a 2 speed, self parking 12V setup that bolts in factory mounts - $150 to $160. I've installed two of them, they work great.

Also check the truck shop as they have them on sale now and than 125 bucks.(newport) Your back and neck will thank you. LOL I have have also used several Newport Units and they work great. Install time is less than half hour and you can use the stock knob if you want and nobody will know the diff.. Dont buy direct from them as they protect there dealer network............
