I have a a 78 k5 balzer I6 with 4 sped tranny with granny gear. I also have a 95 fullsize chevy truck V8 350 2wd. My Question is how hard would it be to put the motor in my blazer. I know I would need the whole comp and harness so it would work. Will my tranny bolt, will the engine bolt etc... need some more input because i know i forgetting something

I want the injection for more reliabitly(spell). I need to find out what kind of tranny I have so I can see if it will bolt to my new engine.

If the newer engine is coupled with an automatic you might have to do something about pilot bearing or bushing I think. Maybe thats not the right part but when I was swapping an engine from a manual truck to an automatic truck the guy I was talking to thought I was going the other way and he had a concern there?

youll also have to use a electric fuel pump and also make a return fuel line from the injection setup back to the tank and make sure you get a good aurflow setup Id use the one off the 95 and put it in the blazer. It may take you a bit to get it all done but youll have a sweet performing blazer when done good luck Doc
