I'm back after a 2 year hiatus-Tremec question
Hello everybody-I am a former member on this website, mostly in the 67-72 section. Here are a few pictures of the "Farmtuck" that I restored;
"" "" I sold this truck to a good friend of mine a couple of years ago, and bought this; "" Now I have sold the Camaro because I just couldn't stand not having a truck any longer. I am looking at a 1984 short stepside tonight that I plan to restify. My goal for the truck is to run a mid 12 like the Camaro. I know I can accomplish this, but I also want the overdrive that the Tremec TKO-600 had. Has anyone here done the Tremec conversion? The truck I am looking at is actually a TH-350, so I'd have to find linkages & all. I would consider doing the Bowtie Overdrives thing, but my preference is the TKO 5 speed. Thanks in advance for any help...J.R. |

I can't offer any advice on the Tremac, but I wanted to say welcome back home. Please post some more pics of your truck and Camaro for us to drool over....
