Here is a pic of a 61. The 60/61 used the same hood/grille. On a 60 model, the brake and clutch pedal came out from the floor instead of under the dash.

there is a difference between a 60 and 61 grill. the 60 has chevrolet stamped on the bottom of the grill. the 61 is exactly like the one in the previous post. they are simular but different. Hemmit

My bad. I forgot about the difference in the grille of a 60 vs 61. You don't see them on the road much around here. A lot of people don't like the hood and will install a 62-66 hood instead. I for one like the look of the 60/61.

JJR you are quite right when you say you don't see very many 60-61 trucks around any more. i live in indiana and it's pretty hard to find any older vehicles that aren't full of cancer. i bought a 61 about a month ago and it had the later hood on it. also in the bed i also found a 60 grill......what a coincidence huh!!!!!!! i also like the older style!!!!!Later HEMMIT.....

Here's a pic of a 60 chevy 4x4. I started a frame off resto on it but it got to be to much work so I sold it. It was a cool looking truck.
