Transfer case mounts?
LMC is the only place I have been able to find mounts for the transfer case. Is there any other place out there? I am also looking for good replacement engine mounts but anytime you say 4WD, they look at you funny. Why does no one carry hardly anything for the 4WD? I still have to check my local autoparts store but I find odd that so few mail orders companies carry the 4wd stuff.

i found both the upper and lower tcase mounts at our local napa store. the only mount that i could not find is that one on the side of the tcase, it is a round bushing that fits into a small plate that bolts to the frame.
hope that helps! |

Transfer case mounts
Energy suspension makes them in poly. I believe some of the vendors on this board carry them.

I put in the Energy Suspension poly mounts in my '69. They were a lot less expensive than the original rubber ones. I've heard they can transfer more vibrations from the t-case/transmission than the rubber ones, but in my lifted '69 with a build engine, it just doesn't matter. I got them from http://www.4wheelparts.com/ (at the actual store though).

My engine mounts were the same for 2 or 4wd. Except for one having a metric bolt pattern for the engine bolt Jeff.

Well I have tried O'Reilly's, NAPA, Classic Chevy here in OKC, with no luck. I guess I will go to plan "B" and order them. I was kinda hoping to get the LT-1 and 700R4/NP205 mocked up this weekend.

That would be great thanks. DO they come with the center bushing as well. I need them too. LMC has the poly kit with bushings for $25 if I decide to order them.

i bought motor mounts and tcase mounts all in the same day, so my reciept has three different part numbers on it and i dont know which is which. these are the napa part numbers-
602-1034-$12.78-should be the upper t-case mount 602-1035-$9.78-should be the lower t-case mount 602-1108-$14.78- i am pretty sure these are the motor mounts under the "line" column on the reciept they all say "BK", they may want that too. each of these prices is for 2 each. it comes with what they call upper and lower mounts. that is the big u shaped mounts for on top of the crossmember, and the smaller square mounts that go on the bottom of the crossmember. then your bolts go up thru both mounts into the tcase. i believe that is what your looking for. if they want, they could call the napa here- 605-578-3552. hope that helps mike |

Nope, not the ones I am after. Those had already been changed. I need the side support mounts that attach to the right side of the frame. There is 4 of them with a spacer.

I just ordered them from LMC, poly only with bushings for $19.95 + shipping. They said up to 2 days to ship? and 4-6 days from KS to OK? WTF? Most places I have dealt with ship same day or next. In theory I should have them by Wednesday. This is my first order with them so we will see. I wish I could drive up the street to Classic Chevrolet Parts in OKC and pick them up but they don't carry them. So it is costing me an extra $8 to ship and several days wait. AAARRRGGGHHH!!!

Well I got them on Friday after ordering them Monday. They are made by Prothane, Prothane p/n 7-1603-BL. The inner bushing is 9/16 ID and the bolt is 1/2, so it looks like I will be making a sleeve. There is a thick bushing and a thin one. Not sure which way they go yet, but other than making a sleeve, everything looks like it will bolt up fine.
