Little secret to assemble the pressure plate. Stack the springs between the two plates and run two 1/4 x 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 bolts into the plates at the wide part. Tighten down almost completely, with the nuts to the ring gear side, insert the narrow part in between the axle gears and slap with a hammer to start it. Slide in about 3/4 of the way and remove the bolts. Finish puttin er to gether!!!!

Has the posi been rebuilt or what? How much lash in the gears? Put me first in line pending a few questions answered.

The posi was just removed from the original rear end. It look's to be in real good shape. It has not been rebuilt and I'm not sure aboout the lash in the gears. This is out of a rear axle off a parts truck i have. If you would like more pics or any other info about it just ask and i'll try to help best i can. Thank's Jason

Instead of bolts I used heavy plastic ties to hold the unit together when inserting it in place. Once in then just snip the ties with side cutters.

OK guys I've got quote's for shipping. I'll list it with the first person inline and so on.
wannabeburbowner - $22 shipping plugger7 - $26 shipping Phatcat - $28 shipping They are out of 12bolt rears from 69-70 1/2 ton Trucks I'll wait to here from wannabeburbowner first and then if he passes it'll go to plugger7. I have another one also i may offer for the same money. But i'm waiting to here from a local guy who had asked about the rearend complete. So i haven't removed the gears and posi from it yet. Please post on here if your still interested or pass. Sorry if this upsets anyone but I'd like to be fair about this. Thank's Jason

Sorry, I was out of town for a couple of days. I don't know much about the truck rear ends, but my truck is a 71 so I don't know if it will work. I will pass on this one.
