67 Panel finally fires up

It started - Click here :head:

1MB video download

I bought the '67 Panel less engine/trans a few years back.
I had a 327 complete carb to pan I pulled from a '68 pickup;
I have a 350 trans I pulled from a 1973 Chevelle Laguna in 1992 or so.
bolted them together in the truck a few weeks back and have been working on gathering up the little pieces we needed to fire this thing up.

Today we had it running under it's own power this video is pre-exhaust hookup. We still feed it through a gas can underneath because it is not pulling fuel from the tank. I'll probably end up dropping the tank this week for some clean up.

Yes, it is still for sale

Sweet Joe!! I just can't believe you're gonna part with that truck though. It'd be a killer truck when done.

Thanks guys. A buddy did the editing for me

My problem is the same as many of you here, too many projects, not enough 'check book'

That was pretty sweet...I tried that with my digi cam and it couldn't handle the noise... not even with mufflers, it records like doo-doo.
Don't forget to put your fan belt back on there.

Yep - that video was pre-exhaust, pre-fan & belt
Still not getting fuel on it's own, we'll drop the tank later this week.

I'm looking for a decent 2 core radiator if anyone has one locally (SE Michigan)

Sweet dude, i love the idle without exhaust, sounds awesome. How long did you run it for. I plan to get the 355 running before winter, just need a complete chassis to put it on, my cousins taking his time painting.
