I dont think I would mount the fan to the radiator core , like the manufacturers suggest.....IMO, it will beat the he!! out of the core, & wear holes in the tubes after some time. I think a couple guys have mounted a 16" puller fan to the stock shroud(after trimming), & it worked fine for a mild sb daily driver. space may be a little tight tween the waterpump & the fan tho..... a sb in I 6 position will have more room . best of luck,
